To hone the acting skills, speaking skills and develop a sense of self confidence in the young Josephites, an Inter House One Act Play Competition was organized for the Secondary School students from Classes V- XII on 30th July, 2022 at the school auditorium. Participants from all the four houses put their best foot forward in enacting the chosen scenes from some of the most renowned plays of the great English dramatist, William Shakespeare. It was the first of its kind when the organizers took it a little further in experimenting within this genre, the plays of Shakespeare by letting the participants perform on scenes from Macbeth to Tempest and King Lear to The Merchant of Venice. The highlight of this event was the colourful costume ,appropriate theme and a perfect background score which breathed life into the dramatization. The acting skills of the young Josephites were highly appreciated by the judges as well as the audience whose thunderous applause after each performance made it evident that the hard work put in by the organizers, house teachers and the students hadnot been wasted.
